The first season of the Vampire Diaries is great. It starts simple with the Salvator brothers coming to Mystic town and fucking around. Elena is so fucking cute. I loved the Damon transformation from absolutely EVIL to "I can be redeemed" because of his love to Elena. The couple of Episodes were Stefan started feeding on human blood were boring, it's so much better when Stefan is nice. Elena's brother Jeremy is such a poor guy losing both bitches he loved Vicki and the asian Vampire girl Anna. Bonnie is a badass witch. The first half of the season was mostly about Damon and Stefan but then they introduced Alairic and his Vampire wife Isobel who happened to be Elena's mother, I don't like how she was bored of her life and decided to become a vampire meh, then we see John Elena's father who fucked Isobel as a teen...John and Isobel try to protect their daughter and they try to kill all the vampires in Mystic fall. At the end of the season they show Katherine, she is a bitch and she fucks with Damon and Stefan. Overall the season has good characters, nice action and the story made sense for the most time. I didn't like Isobel as a character, Jeremy is just too much of a "regular" guy. Still I give the season an 9/10.
